Dear Patients,

I am writing to share the news of my retirement after more than 40 years of practicing dermatology.

​

I feel incredibly fortunate to have had a career I have truly loved. It has been a great privilege to be invited into your lives, and I have learned so much from all of you along the way. One of my greatest joys has been the opportunity to treat children whose parents and even grandparents I have also cared for. Meeting so many wonderful people has been the highlight of my professional life.

While leaving the practice is very bittersweet for me, I know that it is time. I am confident in leaving your care in the hands of the smartest and kindest dermatologist I know, Dr. Lawrence Feigenbaum. He shares a very similar practice philosophy to mine, and I did not choose him overnight - it took a great deal of time and thought to ensure I made the right connection for my patients. He is joined by two very experienced nurse practitioners, Denise Apprill and Andrea Bova, who are equally wonderful.

I feel very good about leaving you in the best possible hands. Thank you for the honor of being your physician for these many years.
